This Privacy Policy explains how Frozen Wire Development Studios ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the free software, games, and tools we publish (collectively, the "Products").
It applies to all of our free Products unless a Product has its own privacy policy. If it does, that policy applies to that Product instead.
We do not directly collect, store, or process personal data from users of our Products.
Our Products run on your device. Any data they create, such as save files, settings, preferences, or progress, is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us. Uninstalling a Product usually removes this data, but some files may stay depending on your platform and how you installed the Product.
Some Products may include third-party services. Which services are used depends on the Product. These services may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Distribution Platforms. Our Products may be distributed through third-party platforms such as Google Play, Steam, itch.io, or similar storefronts. When you download a Product from one of these platforms, your account and transaction information is handled by that platform under its own privacy policy.
Advertising. Some Products may show ads from third-party advertising networks. These networks may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings:
Sign-In and Platform Services. Some Products may let you sign in through a platform account, such as Google Play Games or Steam. The platform provider may process your account information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your account credentials.
Analytics and Crash Reporting. Some Products may use third-party tools that collect anonymous, aggregated information, such as crash reports, device type, or general usage statistics. We use this information only to fix bugs and improve our Products.
Purchases and Donations. Our Products are free. Where we offer optional in-app purchases, donations, or "pay what you want" pricing, payments are processed entirely by the relevant third-party platform or payment provider. We do not collect or store your payment information.
If you contact us by email or another channel, we will receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you. We do not add it to mailing lists or share it with third parties, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Our Products are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some Products may have a higher minimum age, which will be stated on that Product's page or store listing. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell, trade, or rent user data. Apart from the third-party services described in Section 2, we do not share user data with anyone, except where required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, most requests about data held by third-party services should go directly to those providers. For any information you have sent to us directly, such as emails, you can contact us at any time to have it deleted.
We take reasonable precautions to protect our Products. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information processed by third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be shown by the updated date at the top of this page. If you keep using our Products after changes are posted, you accept the updated policy.
